Dharti utte har mausam da vakhra tana bana ey;
Vakho vakh pehrava sabh da vakhra peena khana ey.
Rab ne kujh nahin khan noon dasia rab valon kujh band nahin;
Khan peen hai tan di khatar rooh da koi sabandh nahin,
Kadi baith ke thande dil nal bande ih gal soch vichar;
Tera ki nuksan ne karde dhoti kachha te salvar.
Tainoon jihda changa lagge kha pee te vastar pa;
Dunia da updeshak ban ke hor na jhagde pia vadha
Kahe avtar rab hai milda sara maan gavavan te.
Teeja pran nafrat nahin karni pahahan peevan khavan te.

On this earth , different seasons have different climate;
People have different styles of dress and have different types of diet.
God has neither prescribed nor forbidden any particular food;
Whatever we eat or drink relates the body and has no relevance to the soul.
O’ man , sit and ponder sometime with a cool mind;
How does it harm you whether somebody wears a Dhoti , along underwear or Shalwar.
You may eat , Drink and dress yourself as you prefer;
But don’t preach the same unto the world and thus increase the wrangles.
Avtar says , God can be realized only by shedding all your ego;
The third pledge is not to hate anybody on account of what he wears , drinks and eats.

Meaning
On this earth, different seasons have different climatic conditions; as a result, people wear different styles of dress and have different diet plans. God has neither prescribed (approved) nor banned any particular food; whatever we eat or drink that is related to the body and has no relation with the soul.
O’ man, sit and think over sometime with a relaxed mind; how does it matter to you if somebody wears a dhoti, long underwear or shalwar? You may eat, drink and wear whatever you like. But don’t preach it to the world and add on to the disputes. Avtar says, God can be realized by shedding all your ego and pride. The third pledge is not to hate anyone on account of what he wears, drinks and eats.
